Boardwalk Brawler Bundle - Complete 80s Pixel Art Game Kit
A downloadable asset pack
Two art styles, one purchase
Choose the original chunky 16-bit edition or the newly illustrated 32-bit edition. Both complete asset downloads are included. Native and game-sized exports are included in each edition; these are separate art styles, not two upscaled copies. Keep the editions in separate folders. The free sample and playable Unity/Godot examples showcase the 32-bit edition.
Build an 80s seaside beat-em-up with one matching pixel-art kit: 38 complete animated fighters, beach and neon environments, pickups, effects, shop icons, interface sprites and arcade sounds.
Ongoing polish: Future polish updates are included with your purchase.
Try the free starter sample: a complete fighter, beach scenery, props, effects, icons, UI and sounds. Same commercial-use license.

Ready to import
Separate PNG frames, animation strips, PNG/JSON hash atlases, anchors, animation metadata, eight assembled environment examples, browser previews and a file manifest. All eight modules have their own folders.
Characters face right and can be mirrored for left. Attack timing is configurable. Terrain edges are not guaranteed seamless. Music and the complete game source are not included.
License
Commercial and non-commercial use, modification and finished-project distribution allowed. No standalone asset redistribution or resale. No attribution required. The bundled font retains its separate SIL OFL license.
Consistent character sizes
Includes optional game-scale PNG frames and strips for all 38 fighters, with a shared 128x128 cell and foot anchor. Tuna and the other large fighters retain their larger in-game size when imported at the same pixels-per-unit. Original native-resolution frames and per-frame scale metadata are also included. See characters/IMPORT-SIZING.txt.
Playable engine examples
Two optional source-project downloads are included with the paid bundle: Unity 6 (tested in 6000.3.10f1) and Godot 4 (tested in 4.5.2). Each has an editable beach scene, all 32 Dex animation states, movement, jumping, a bat pickup, crate attacks, hit sparks and WAV sound playback. Integration scripts are MIT licensed; artwork and sounds retain the bundle license.
Extract the Unity ZIP, add its project folder in Unity Hub, open Assets/Scenes/BeachDemo.unity and press Play. For Godot, import project.godot and press F5. Controls: WASD/arrows to move, Space to jump, J to attack, E to pick up/drop the bat, R to reset. Desktop keyboard examples; no additional asset-store packages required.
